The cabinet has approved the introduction of paid ward facility in government hospitals.
Accordingly, the Council of Ministers has approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Health to provide facilities for paid wards in government hospitals for Sri Lankans as well as foreigners.
Cabinet Spokesman Minister Bandula Gunawardena stated this while addressing the press conference to announce the Cabinet decisions held today.
He said that some amendments are going to be made regarding the related payments.
