Minister of Education Susil Premjayant says that all preparations have been completed for the GCE O/L examination scheduled to start on May 29.
The minister also said that the GCE O/L examination will be completed in 10 days.
The minister also said that the date of this year’s advanced level examination will also be notified in advance.
He said this in reply to a question asked in Parliament today (25).
He also said that the teachers of 10 subjects who are evaluating A/L answer sheets started the work yesterday (24).
“On the one hand, I thank FUTA. They were in constant conversation with me. Yesterday I sent the answers to the letter sent the day before. They will look at it positively. I hope that issue will be resolved by today. Because yesterday the chiefs of 10 subjects came and started relevant evaluations.”
The minister also mentioned that the examination department is working to increase the number of centers to evaluate answer sheets.
It is expected to reduce the time taken for the evaluation process.
