    A group steals a car in Anuradhapura claiming to be from the Mirihana police

    05 people posing as a group of Mirihana Police officers robbed a car in front of the Anuradhapura Provincial Council building.

    The owner of that car is a 32-year-old resident of Pahiyankadala, Anuradhapura. The police say that the person is an artist.

    Police say that these criminals, who robbed the car claiming to be from the Mirihana police, stole Rs. 205,000 and gold items from its owner. Anuradhapura Police say that the value of the property including the stolen car, is over Rs. 3.1 million.
