A Spanish national who came for a visit to this country died yesterday in an accident while traveling on a motorcycle.
The accident occurred at Ahangama town on the Matara-Colombo main road when the motorcycle ridden by the foreigner collided with a concrete pillar on the road.
This 30-year-old Spaniard has been staying at a hotel in Ahangama. The police say that he was already dead when he was taken to the hospital after the accident.
