Police have arrested two persons who assaulted Dr. NM Pavitra Nayanajith of Katagastota Hospital in the hospital premises early this morning.
Two persons residing in Katugastota have been arrested.
The police say that the attack took place on New Year’s night after the suspects came to the hospital to receive treatment.
