Fort Police officials have arrested a person who was roaming in the Galle Face area posing as an officer of the Police Intelligence Division following a tip-off received from the Army Intelligence Division.
This person is a resident of Boralasgamuwa. It is stated that after the members of the Army Intelligence observed him roaming around the Galle Face area pretending to be an officer of the Police Intelligence Division, the police were informed about it.
The suspect has been remanded after being presented to the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today.
