The Litro Gas Company has decided to reduce the price of a 12.5 kg Litro gas cylinder by Rs. 1005 from midnight tonight.
Accordingly, the new price of a 12.5 liter gas cylinder which was Rs. 4743 till now, is Rs. 3728.
Apart from that, the price of a 5 kg gas cylinder will be reduced by Rs. 402, Mr. Muditha Peiris, chairman of Litro Company, said today.
According to Mr. Muditha Peiris, the new price of a 5 kg gas cylinder is Rs. 1502, which was Rs. 1904 so far.
Apart from this, Mr. Muditha Peiris said that the price of a 2.3 kg gas cylinder will be reduced by Rs. 183. Accordingly, the new price of a 2.3 kg gas cylinder, which was Rs. 883 till now, is Rs. 700.
Mr. Muditha Peiris further stated that this price reduction has been done according to the price formula, giving the public the advantage of the strengthening of the rupee and gas prices in the world market.
