A 73-year-old pensioner who worked as a chief mechanical engineer in the Railway Department has died after being hit by an express train traveling from Colombo to Beliatta.
The Galle Harbor Police stated that the accident happened yesterday on the railway line near the Galle Sudarshanarama Temple.
