Water supply to the following areas of Colombo will be suspended for a period of 09 hours today (21) from 11.00 am to 08.00 pm.
That is because of the suspension of the electricity supply to the pumping station in Ambatale due to essential renovation work being carried out by the Electricity Board.
The areas where water supply will be suspended are Colombo, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralasgamuwa, Kolonnawa Municipal Council areas,
Kotikawatta, Mulleriya local council areas, Ratmalana and Katubedda.
The Board expressed its regret for the inconvenience caused to the water consumers due to the suspension of the water supply and requested that the necessary water be stored.
