    A shortage of dental equipment and medicine

    According to the Association of Government Dental Surgeons, there is a severe shortage of dental equipment and medicines in government hospitals.

    Its secretary expert Dr. Manjula Herath said that there is a severe shortage of medicines required for treatments including tooth fillings, nerve fillings, orthodontic treatment and dental preservation.

    He also mentioned that due to that situation, the patients who come for treatment have to wait in the waiting list for a long time.

    Meanwhile, due to the shortage of medicines, the patients coming to the government hospitals for treatment are suffering.

    In an inquiry to the Minister of Health, Mr. Keheliya Rambukwella, he mentioned that arrangements have already been made for the importation of essential medicines.

      Dr. Manjula Herath what huge govenment employees salaries getting in the health sectors.
      As usual request shortage medicines according to the system. aslo attached the copy of needed medicines and hospital equipments foreign embassies they will donate.
