Steps are taken to specify the route and destination of the relevant materials in the permits issued for the transportation of all building materials, such as sand, soil, gravel, clay, etc…
Accordingly, this will be implemented from January 2, 2023, Chairman of the Geological Survey and Mining Bureau Mr. R. Sanjeepan says.
The Chairman mentions that this process is being done to prevent misuse of the licenses issued for sand transportation and the corruption caused by it.
This step has been taken as per the instructions of the Minister of Environment Nazeer Ahamed.
