Samson Kumarage, a veteran film and television director, passed away today (18).
He also held the position of active director of the National Film Corporation for a short time.
He directed films such as ‘Jayagrahanaya’, ‘Sudu Walassu’, ‘Akunu Pahara’, ‘Alu Yata Gini’ etc.
Also, directed teledramas like ‘Badde Senehasa’, ‘Hapana’, ‘Sandaluthalaye Geethikawa’, ‘Somapura Veerayo’ and ‘Aswanna’ (to be aired).
