The Electricity Board says that due to the rains that are occurring across the country these days, 60% of the capacity of hydroelectricity was added to the national grid.
The electricity board also says that the remaining electricity requirement will be generated by heat and wind.
At present, the water level in the reservoirs associated with the power plants has reached 78%.
