The time allotted to visit the ‘Colombo Lotus Tower’, which is considered the tallest tower in South Asia, has been extended by another two hours.
Chief Administrative Officer of Nelum Kuluna Pvt. Ltd. Retired Major General Mr. Prasad Samarasinghe mentioned that the opening time for visitors has been extended by two hours and accordingly from tomorrow (20), Nelum Kuluna will be open for visitors from 12.00 noon to 10.00 PM on weekdays and from 10.00 AM to 11.00 PM on weekends.
As more people are coming from all over the country to see the Lotus Tower, there has been a lot of traffic. It is higher than expected. People who came to see the tower had to wait in queues for hours yesterday. Major General Prasad Samarasinghe said that the issuance of Rs. 2000 tickets was suspended due to that situation. Accordingly, he said that Rs. 500 rupees tickets will be issued to everyone who comes to visit the tower.
