A special meeting to elect a new chairman for the Ambalangoda Municipal Council will be held next Monday (19) at 10 am at the Municipal Library Auditorium.
Southern Province Local Government Commissioner Mr. Ranil Wickramasekera will elect the new chairman and a poll will also be held.
The post is vacant due to the resignation of the Chairman of Ambalangoda Municipal Council.
