The Samurdhi Development Department said that they have started inviting applications from people seeking other government subsidies, including the Samurdhi Allowance.
Its Director General Mr. Bandula Thilakasiri mentioned that the opportunity for that is available until the 30th of next year.
People seeking welfare, elderly, disabled and kidney subsidies can submit their applications to the regional secretaries through the Grama Niladhari offices.
Accordingly, he also mentioned that the application can be forwarded through any officer of the Grama Niladhari’s domain, namely Samurdhi Development Officer, Agriculture Research and Production Assistant, Development Officer and Grama Niladhari.
The Director General said that all the people currently receiving government allowances should also forward this application.
