President’s Secretary Mr. Saman Ekanayake says that Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa will be provided with the necessary facilities under the privileges of a former president according to the constitution.
He is currently staying safe in a house in Colombo area.
Former President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, who had been abroad for about 52 days due to the crisis in the country, returned to Sri Lanka last night (2).
