The All Ceylon Poultry Businessmen’s Association says that it has decided to sell an egg for Rs. 46 for the wholesale traders who come to their farms.
Its chairman, Mr. Ajith Gunasekara, said that the sale of eggs has been hampered by now.
He also said that a request has been made from the government to provide relief to the egg producers until the issued gazette is revised.
