Professor Sampath Amaratunga, chairman of the University Grants Commission, said that all universities across the country will start before the end of September.
Professor Amaratunga said that even if the university reopens for studies, any student can still participate in the lectures through the online system.
Accordingly, they mentioned that the study activities of all the universities across the country will be conducted both physically and online from the month of September.
He said that in some universities, studies are already being conducted through the online system, and in some other universities, examinations are being held.
Professor Amaratunga also said that in spite of the covid epidemic situation, studies in all universities were continued through the online system.
