According to the Ministry of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare, more than 140,000 Sri Lankans have left for foreign jobs in the past eight months.
Its secretary Mr. R. P. A. Wimalaweera said that the government’s aim is to send 300,000 Sri Lankans for foreign jobs this year.
