The government decides to transfer the power to regulate all passenger transport services including three-wheelers to the Sri Lanka Transport Commission.
Mr. Bandula Gunawardena, the Minister of Transport, expressed these views while speaking to the media in the Jaffna area.
The Minister of Transport, Mr. Bandula Gunawardena, said that the cabinet has also approved the amendment of related bills for carrying out regulatory activities for transport services including the determination of fares.
