According to the National Dengue Control Unit, the number of dengue cases reported weekly has increased to 1500.
Its director, Dr. Sudath Samaraweera said that the highest number of patients are reported from the Western Province.
Also, the director claims that a significant number of patients are reported from Kandy, Galle, Ratnapura and Kegalle districts.
Mr. Sudath Samaraweera requested the people to take care of the symptoms and seek medical advice as Dengue, Corona and Influenza are spreading these days.
