Power and Energy Minister Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera has submitted a complaint to the Criminal Investigation Department requesting an investigation into the activities of the Petroleum Corporation and the Ceylon Petroleum Wholesale Terminal Company.
In particular, the Minister has requested the Criminal Investigation Department to look into the fuel purchase tender process, tender evaluation, improper ordering, supplier selection method, payment delay, distribution problems as well as the allegations made by various people in this regard.
Some aragalaya persons should be included in the prosecuting team
