The President has planned to ceremonially open the third session of the Ninth Parliament on the 3rd at 10.30 am.
The Secretary General of the Parliament has sent a letter to all the MPs to attend the event.
The Secretary General also informs that the following documents related to the commencement of the third session of the Ninth Parliament have already been uploaded on the official website of the Parliament (http://www.parlaiment.lk).
Accordingly, the special gazette No. 2290/35 dated 2022.07.28 containing the proclamation issued by the President concluding the second session, the agenda of the Parliament related to the ceremonial opening of the third session of the Ninth Parliament and the detailed note related to that date are available through Parliament website.
