According to the National Transport Commission, bus fares were reduced by 2.23%.
Also, the minimum bus fare will be reduced by Rs. 2 from Rs. 40 to Rs. 38.
The new bus fare revision is scheduled to take effect from midnight today.
The reduction in fuel prices has thus led to the revision of bus fares.
