The security forces have observed a heavily guarded convoy moving towards Katunayake along the Katunayake highway.
Although it is not yet clear who is coming, the security forces suspect that a dignitary or similar person is traveling there.
A senior officer of a security department said that the convoy was seen moving at high speed.
