13 students were injured and hospitalized when the floor of a lorry carrying 37 school students collapsed.
The accident took place in the Galenbindunuwewa area yesterday morning.
Due to the fuel crisis, the children went to school on the back deck of a lorry. Then the lorry’s floor was collapsed.
The injured children have been admitted to Galenbidunuwewa Hospital and three children have been transferred to Anuradhapura Hospital for further treatment.
