The Parliamentary Committee on Public Enterprises has decided to inquire into the CEB’s purchases, power generation, distribution, and power projects.
Its chairman, MP Prof. Charitha Herath, said the COPE would meet daily from the 19th of next month to investigate.
He further said that this decision was taken at the request of the members of the Ceylon Electricity Board when they were summoned before the COPE Committee recently.
