Superintendent of Transport of the Sri Lanka Railways Ranjith Padmalal states that train fares will definitely be increased.
He stated that there will be a 50 percent increase in train fares as compared to the increase in bus fares.
Mr. Padmalal further stated that at the moment there is no other option but to increase the fees.
