Bribery Commission officials have arrested MP S. Vialendran’s coordinating secretary of the parliament who is his brother, and another person for accepting a bribe of Rs. 1.5 million from a businessman.
The raid was carried out in Batticaloa yesterday (21) afternoon.
The Bribery Commission stated that he was arrested while soliciting a bribe from a businessman to provide necessary assistance to develop and sell a land.
