As many as 157 people died of Covid -19 during the second week of May, the health authorities confirmed. It is an increase over 83 cases reported the previous week of May.
After the third wave broke out, fatalities have shot up in the country. So far, 941 people have died of the virus since the pandemic broke out last March.
