In the face of the current crisis, a discussion was held today (24) under the patronage of the Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Mr. Dinesh Gunawardena on how to streamline and effectively carry out state service activities through limited resource management.
Among the issues discussed at this meeting were the steps to be taken to invite staye service employees to work with minimum cost, minimum time frame and minimum resources.
However, issues such as providing uninterrupted services to the public were not discussed, the ministry said.
It was also discussed that all state service officers, while the officials of this Ministry lead by example, should act responsibly and with commitment for the betterment of the national economy.
Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, J.J. Ratnasiri, Additional Secretaries, Heads of Divisions and other officials were present at the occasion.
