The CID has arrested another 02 suspects in connection with the riots in Kollupitiya and Galle Face areas.
The male suspect who was arrested today in connection with the violence and riots that took place on the 9th of this month has been arrested by the CID in the Hanwella area and the female suspect was arrested while hiding in the Polgahawela area.
The arrested male suspect is a 53-year-old resident of Thunmodara, Hanwella, and he is the Chairman of the Hanwella Multipurpose Co-operative Society.
The female suspect is a 59-year-old residing in the Ratmalana Railway Station Road area and she is the Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipal Councilor.
The 02 suspects are due to be produced in court tomorrow (20).
