The Government Medical Officers’ Association states that a team of professionals is formed to come up with solutions to the current situation in the country and the trade unions in the state service are invited to join.
The union says the economic and political breakdown in Sri Lanka has been caused by poor timing, poor financial discipline, and inappropriate appointments.
The association also states that assisting government officials and professionals in solving the country’s problems is an inalienable responsibility.
The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) urges professionals to intervene as soon as possible to come up with short-term, medium-term and long-term solutions and make those solutions a reality.
