The National Transport Commission states that around 1,400 Sisuseriya buses have been deployed to transport school children from today (7).
Its Director-General Nilan Miranda stated that there are about 700 SLTB buses among them.
He also stated that due to this there will be no obstruction to the transportation of school children.
