    Diesel ship arrived – Distribution started

    The Ministry of Energy says that the ship carrying 37,300 metric tons of diesel that has arrived in Sri Lanka will begin distribution to the market today.

    Its Additional Secretary to the Media Spokesman, Chaminda Hettiarachchi stated that the current shortage of diesel at filling stations will be gradually eliminated.

    However, people were still queuing at petrol stations in many cities until midnight yesterday (03) to get diesel.
