The State Ministry of Transport says that a program is being planned to supply fuel to private buses from (SLTB) Sri Lanka Transport Board filling stations in the event of a fuel shortage.
Minister of State Dilum Amunugama states that this matter was brought to the notice of the Minister of Finance during a discussion held with him.
He said that at present stocks of fuel for 2 days are in the possession of the Sri Lanka Transport Board and the Railway Department.
