Former Mrs. Sri Lanka Pushpika de Silva has been summoned to the Piliyandala Police today to make a statement regarding the investigation into the attack on journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrema’s house, but she has not appeared before the police.
A senior police officer stated that if she is going to evade the police, steps would be taken to summon her by a court order.
The official said that statements were being obtained from those involved in several controversial discussions held with Chamuditha Samarawickrema on his YouTube channel and accordingly Mrs. Pushpika de Silva was summoned.
