The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) says that the countrywide power cut was approved tomorrow (21) at the request of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).
The Public Utilities Commission said that there will be a One-hour power cut in all areas except the Southern Province from 8.30 am to 7.30 pm tomorrow.
In Southern Province, it will be a 03-hour power from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
These measures have been taken due to the fact that the existing power plants are not generating enough electricity to meet the demand.
