The Health Professionals Association says that an island wide strike will be launched from 7 am tomorrow based on several demands including the elimination of salary anomalies.
Its chairman Ravi Kumudesh says that such a decision had to be taken due to the failure of discussions with the Secretary to the Ministry of Health.
He added that paramedics and nurses as well as nurses would continue to support the strike.
