Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena has been infected with Covid, according to parliamentary sources.
The sources also said that it was confirmed that he was infected when the speaker underwent a PCR test.
The sources say that Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena is currently being quarantined at the Speaker’s official residence.
