A 19-year-old resident of the Soysapura housing scheme in Ratmalana has died in a fire that broke out yesterday (7).
The youth who was injured in a fire that broke out in a house in the Soysapura apartment complex in the Mount Lavinia Police Division yesterday afternoon has died after being admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital, Mount Lavinia Police said.
The magisterial inquiry into the death and the post mortem will be held on 08.01.2022.
The cause of the fire has not been revealed yet.
Mount Lavinia Police are conducting further investigations.
