The amount of rice that can be purchased by one customer from Sathosa outlets during the festive season has been increased to 10 kg from tomorrow (27), Trade Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena told to newswave.LK.
The Minister said that this program will be implemented until the 31st of next month.
The Minister said that ‘Supiri Samba’ has been introduced to the Sathosa as a substitute for Kiri Samba and will be sold at Rs. 130 per kilo.
In addition, it has been decided to provide extra 02 kilograms of rice to the Sathosa relief bag for customers who do not purchase sugar, the Minister said.
