Gas-related fires and explosions continue to be reported.
According to the Police Headquarters, 12 gas-related fires and explosions have been reported to the police today as well. The blasts were reported from Badalkumbura, Medagama, Gediaroda, Gonamotawa, Lunugala, Haputale, Hatton and Vavuniya.
Police say most of the explosions were due to faults in gas stoves.
