Veteran actor Sampath Tennakoon has passed away.

Sampath Tennakoon, a unique artist who has entertained thousands of viewers by displaying his acting prowess in cinema, stage and television, has recently been hospitalized due to a serious illness.
Mr. Sampath Tennakoon is an alumnus of Isipathana College, Colombo and contributed to more than 50 stage plays with his theatrical talent.
