Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) General Secretary Ranjan Jayalal says that CEB employees will protest on the 8th against the transfer of the Sri Lankan energy sector to a US company.
Accordingly, if there is a power outage on that day, it will take 24 hours to repair it.
He also mentioned that this is a professional action taken with the country in mind.
