The Police Headquarters stated that 2910 persons traveling in three wheelers and motorbikes without following proper health instructions were warned and released yesterday.
During a special operation conducted by 845 officers in the Western Province yesterday, those who did not follow proper health instructions were taken into police custody, warned and then released.
The Police Media Spokesman’s Office stated that 3068 motorcycles and 3207 three wheelers were inspected. The number of people tested was 9764.
