The Dehiwala National Zoo will be kept open 7 days a week subject to proper health guidelines, said the Education Officer of the Zoo Nihal Senarath.
Accordingly, the zoo will be open to visitors from 8.30 am to 5 pm, he said.
He also requested that if any person has a fever, cough or cold, they should refrain from visiting the zoo.
