Four new airlines will launch direct flights to Sri Lanka next month, Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said.
Russia’s AZUR Airlines will begin twice a week flights to Sri Lanka from the 3rd of next month. AIR ASTANA also operates twice a week from Kazakhstan.
Poland’s LOT POLISH Airlines will make direct flights to Sri Lanka from the 8th of next month and NEOS Airlines from Italy will commence flights to Sri Lanka from the 15th of next month.
Prior to the Kovid 19 virus project, 37 airlines operated in Sri Lanka and currently operates 17 airlines. Minister Prasanna Ranatunga also stated that 8 airlines operate cargo operations.
