A programme got underway today at Devram Vihare in Pannipitiya to train novice monks to grow up as virtuous Bhikkhus.
This will be implemented from today till November 27 according to health guidelines.
Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs Sunanda Kariyapperuma said said they would be trained with rituals pertaining to the order of Bhikkhus, their role for society and their Dayakas.
